It is not strange that you decided to write and publish your new book about "rotten uncles" - you have a lot of experience already writing childrens books. Those nieces are very lucky to have such a caring writer around them.
I completely enjoyed reading this newsletter! As an Aunt with over 20 niblings, I can imagine the thoughtfulness it took to write books. I have considered writing books for some of them, but the thought of the rigmarole of production gets me discouraged. However, I have written and shared children tracts with them in the past. I look forward to more inspiring ways to bond with them. Thank you so much for sharing👍🏻.
You are the best Uncle, Phil. Certainly do not make the rotten uncle's list as I'm sure your nieces will agree. Here's to getting more than 2 readers this time around!

That's adorable! I'm sure the books will also make great memories and could even be shared with their kids later in life.
I didn't know you used to live in Mexico. Can I ask where you taught?
I worked at the SUNEO system of universities in Oaxaca state.
They are universities which are built in smaller towns so kids in rural areas can attend.
I worked in Juchitán de Zaragoza and Miahuatlán.
That's awesome! My mom's family if from Oaxaca. Did you enjoy your stay in Mexico?
Brilliant. I love the spaces for their illustrations, too.
